Sending images information:
Best imaging for nice results are scanned photos or art at 300 dpi jpg, or for digital camera photos just send what you have "as is" If you want text added somewhere on the mug type it into the body of the email so we can copy and paste to prevent mistakes. If you send Embedded art text works best to send your piece in 300 dpi, not 72 dpi in order to create a nice and sharp mug. For more critical jobs or things you have spent a great deal of time designing you can send a cd by mail in tif, eps etc. (PC based Photoshop layered files are what we use if you have them. If using vector based version send us the font file too if it's not a standard one. Layer files give us a little more control of sublimation output since we can adjust things separately) Be sure to include notes to the address at the bottom when sending cd files. Image dimensions: As a general rule 8 inches wide by a hair under 3 inches high works best in full wrap mode and if dual sided no wider then 3.75 to keep things nice and centered for each side. Some layouts in full wrap continuos mode "block" images don't work as well in layout on the standard white sublimation mug where on the two tone premium mug it's possible.

2) If buying a physical proof mug or set package (optional but recommended if you have plans to buy on an ongoing bases) you need to pay for it first.  Cost $19.95mug/$22.95 boxed set -- you can order online at the top of the page.

3) Proof mug or no proof mug involved, We will send back a sample via email along with the total costs including the shipping information.  At this time you can then let us know if you are happy with the image or if it still needs some changes.  After the approval stage If you purchased a proof mug we will then ship it for final approval before production will start.

4) After final approval of online image or physical proof mug and you are ready to give us the production OK, payment is required in full before production starts.  We will send you a link to pay for purchase or you can pay by check.  As soon as payment is received and processed we will start your order.

5) Turn around time is normally around two weeks depending on the size of the order. During peak production times times and higher volume orders, production may take longer.  Pleas plan ahead. 

Dye Sublimation is not an exact color matching system but we feel you will be very pleased with our results.
Photos and art look very natural although sometimes certain high saturated colors blocks may have a slight tone difference then your original work.  What you see on your monitor in sampling may not be the exact color output of the product but pretty close in most instances in overall output expectation.  Very close color matching can be achieved but if this is your need then it will cost you much more in proofing then we are offering here at this price. If you are very critical then I suggest you always buy a proof before hand regardless of who you buy from.

Although the ingredients from our suppliers we use to produce our finished sublimation products are some of the best in the industry and rated high for UV resistance, dishwasher safe as well as microwavable, DC Designs as the decorator recommends hand washing as the best method to keep these images looking like new for years.  The main reason hand washing is recommended as the dominant method is there are so many different dishwasher detergents on the market and some are more corrosive then others, as well as some households with extremely high water temperatures so we would recommend hand washing as the preferred way to keep your images fresh looking.  We have many that have been through these sort of things constantly and still look almost new but we still recommend hand washing as good art image protocol.  The only other main consideration is if your mug is used for display purposes it's best to not keep it in constant direct sunlight near a window as sunlight will degrade about anything printed after extended periods of time.
